Peggy & Rajesh / Holly Hedge Estates / Pennsylvania Wedding Photographer

We met up with Peggy and Rajesh on Friday night before the wedding to shoot their rehearsal dinner at La Bonne Auberge in New Hope, PA  and then met up with them in the morning the following day at Holly Hedge Estates on their wedding day where the reception was to be held later in the evening.  After weathering the cold outside for a few formals, we headed over to the Trinity Episcopal Church in Solebury for the ceremony.
Back at Holly Hedge, a live band accompanied family and guests with dancing throughout the evening, and it was great to work with Albert Snyder and the staff at Holly Hedge.  Peggy and Rajesh will be celebrating a second ceremony in India, and it was such a pleasure to be a part of their big day!

Amy & Chris / Bryn Athyn Cathedral / Cairnwood Wedding Photographer

The gorgeous colors of fall remained in full bloom along Cathedral road in Bryn Athyn.  We met up with Amy and Chris at Cairnwood, an elegant country Estate that dates back to the late 1890’s, where they both got ready before heading over to the Bryn Athyn Cathedral just down the road, where Amy and Chris are both members.  After the ceremony, family and friends joined them in the choir hall for Fika, a Swedish tradition of afternoon snack and socializing.  After a few formals on the beautiful grounds of the cathedral, we headed over to the Glencairn Museum and took some pictures from the tower.  Amy and Chris had opened the museum for the guests to visit during the cocktail hour, and after a few pix with the couple’s ride (Chris’ Lotus!), we headed back over to the Cairnwood for the reception that was wonderfully catered by Feastivities Events, and Rose Petals and Lace provided the flowers.  Music was provided by the outstanding Urban Guerilla Orchestra, and it was great to work with Fred Fields from Solubility Solutions Video Productions.

Marissa & Balmoris / Harvest on Hudson / Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer

We had originally met with Marissa at her office in Manhattan, and a little over a month later, we were shooting her wedding at the beautiful Harvest on Hudson, located right on the Hudson river in Hastings, NY.  Balmoris gave one of the most endearing “first look” reactions upon seeing Marissa for the first time in her dress, and they were just a delight to spend the day photographing.  The venue had a wonderful wine country feel, along with the fall seasonal décor (complete with bride and groom pumpkins!) and after the reception, we took more pictures by the river, as well as some shots with a more urban feel as we love having the chance to shoot both the scenic beautiful backdrops, as well as some more edgy and rustic settings

Julissa & Thomas / Mountain Lakes House / Princeton Wedding Photographer

Julissa and Tom were married on Halloween at the Mountain Lakes House in Princeton.
The ceremony was officiated by Celia Milton, and the staff at Main Street Catering was exceptional as always and it was great to work with Celine this time around. The Mountain Lakes House was wonderfully transformed into a festive masquerade themed event with a gothic flair, complete with candelabras, candlelit lanterns, pumpkins, ghoulish statues and decorated candy apple favors.

Theresa & Rich / Perona Farms Wedding Photographer / New Jersey Wedding Photographer

Even though it rained, it certainly didn’t spoil the fun and the energy of this great wedding couple and we were thrilled to be a part of their day!  The outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside at Perona Farms, but the autumn colors were everywhere in the details and the décor.  Ore Makeup Design provided the makeup services for the day, and Best of Both Worlds provided the entertainment and music for the ceremony and reception.  Theresa and Rich didn’t mind getting out in the rain (which is always fun for us) so we got some fun shots under the umbrella, as well as a lot of great shots on the dance floor.  Theresa and Rich also incorporated the money dance, which is a traditional Filipino wedding custom.
